Ok so I thought that I would take a look through Etsy Pounce and see what lovelies I could find in stores that have not had any sales…There’s some amazing stores around and I know that I could not possibly look through all of them but this caught my eye.

Etsy Seller Spotlight – Red Suede Kitten

I have not had a chance to do a review of an Etsy shop for ages and really want to do them regularly so I think that I may just have Mondays as my Etsy Seller Spotlight.

Ok this seller that i have chosen is RED SUEDE KITTEN and the Artist behind the creations is Melita, she is a talented Australian that creates the most amazing Felted creations:

Felt Cloud Brooch / Pin - Butter Berries

The image above is just amazing and my favourite piece out of her Felt Cloud Brooches, it’s so vibrant and intense in colour, just beautiful!!

A little about how it’s made:

“To make a Felt Cloud, I first create hand rolled pieces of sushi felt, using the wet felting technique. These pieces are then joined together and are backed with felt sheet. Metal findings are used to complete the pieces. Each piece is lovingly and carefully constructed.”

You have seriously got to see these Bug Brooches…they are so adorable aren’t they??

I just think they are the cutest thing!

This necklace is unusual and the colours are gorgeous and very earthy…i love this one!

There seems to be a lot of waste now a days and if someone like Melita can create truly amazing and unusual pieces of Art from something that would be discarded without another thought…well to me that is just Fantastic.

I have been a fan of Christina Hurley’s jewellery for ages and I adore this ring…I need to save up for this because it is a pricey piece but really would be SO worth it!!

I love waterlilies and I WILL own one of these rings one day!!!

Ok so the next item is….

This dress is a “LYPTIS” dress, isn’t it just amazing? There are a lot of people with this dress and I have not got one yet, i will have before winter, it looks soooooo comfy!

OK so this next piece I love is by UniqueDichroic…her pendants are gorgeous!

But to be honest I really can’t choose a fave…all of her pendants are just beautiful.

I bought one from her last year through Oztion (before i started shopping on etsy) and had it for about a week before my son dropped it on the tiles in our bathroom and it broke….GRRRRR I was mad I tell you but he cut his finger which made me feel a little bad for getting angry at him.

I am going to get another one eventually and I am hoping to get one for my mum for her birthday next month!

Ok well there could be so many more items i could include in my Wishlist Wednesday post.

What has been happening so far…

I realised that it was definitely time for a new blog post.

At the moment I am attempting to get a couple of paintings done, one of which will be for the March NFAC – An ebay group of artists that create works based on a Monthly theme, this month is Asian Inspired. All Auctions start at a crazy $0.99 !

Once I have finished these current works I am working on I will be making another order of prints, that way I can offer my art to those who can not afford to purchase originals.
